Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Information supplied when registering or ordering must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity through your account, unless that activity results from a security failure for which AXIOM is responsible.

We may request reasonable information to confirm identity, eligibility, lawful purpose or suspected fraud. We may restrict or close an account used unlawfully, fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Products and research use

Products identified as research compounds are sold solely for lawful laboratory, analytical or research use. AXIOM does not offer or represent them as medicines, registered health products, food, supplements or cosmetics, and does not provide medical advice or offer the products for human or veterinary use.

By ordering, you confirm that the purchase, possession, storage, handling and use of the products are lawful and consistent with the Product & Research Use Notice. That notice forms part of these terms.

Product information and verification

We take reasonable care to present product names, strengths, quantities, compatibility information, images and batch information accurately. Minor packaging, colour or image variations may occur, but nothing permits AXIOM to supply goods that are materially different from what was ordered.

“Verified” refers to the evidence reviewed for a specific identified lot and the tests and acceptance criteria stated in its Lot Record. It does not mean regulatory approval, medical certification or suitability for human or veterinary use. References to laboratory credentials, accreditation, analytical methods or standards are provided for traceability and to describe the testing performed; they do not imply accreditation, certification, endorsement or approval of AXIOM, the product, Lot Record or any AXIOM report. The Product & Research Use Notice explains the scope and limits of verification in more detail.

Orders, pricing and payment

Before placing an order, you must actively accept these Terms of Use & Sale and the Product & Research Use Notice. AXIOM may retain an electronic record of the account, order, date, time and policy versions accepted.

Before submitting an order, you can review the selected products, quantities, delivery information, charges and total amount, correct errors or leave the checkout without placing the order.

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order. AXIOM accepts the order when we confirm acceptance or dispatch it.

Prices are shown in South African rand. Delivery charges and the total payable amount are shown before checkout. Payment must clear before an order is processed unless another arrangement is expressly agreed.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance because of unavailable stock, an obvious pricing or description error, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or legal concerns. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount due using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Delivery, cancellations and returns

Available delivery methods, charges and estimates are shown at checkout. Our Shipping & Delivery Policy covers processing, tracking, failed delivery, transit damage and temperature-controlled shipments.

Our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy explains cancellation requests, statutory cooling-off rights where applicable, defective or incorrect goods and refund processing. Both policies form part of these terms and do not reduce rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Website use and intellectual property

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at unreasonable scale, misrepresent your identity or use AXIOM content to support false, medical or unlawful claims.

AXIOM’s trade marks, original product imagery, graphics, copy, layouts, databases and report compilations belong to AXIOM or its licensors. You may view and use them for their intended purpose, but may not reproduce, relabel, commercially exploit or misrepresent them without written permission.

Important responsibilities and legal limitations

Important: This section limits AXIOM’s responsibility for loss caused by unlawful use, alteration, contamination, incorrect storage or reliance outside the stated verification scope. Please read it carefully before ordering.

You are responsible for following product labels, storage requirements and the Product & Research Use Notice. AXIOM is not responsible for loss caused by unlawful use, unauthorised alteration, contamination, incorrect storage, relabelling or reliance on a report outside its stated scope.

Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty, remedy, liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

Complaints and changes

Send complaints to hello@axiomlab.co.za with the order number, lot number and relevant supporting information. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable period.

South African law applies. If any part of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Updated terms will display a revised date. The version applicable when an order was placed will continue to govern that order unless the law requires otherwise.
